Conduct Last Rites of Three Weeks Old Elizabeth J. Basart

Garner - First funeral rites in the new St. Boniface Catholic church in Garner were conducted Wednesday morning at 9 by the Rev. M. J. Mantermach for Elizabeth Joan Basart, 3 weeks old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Basart.

The baby died in a Mason City hospital Tuesday. She had been kept in an incubator since her premature birth Aug. 12.

Father Manternach had charge of the private services and graveside rites in the Catholic cemetery. Carl W. Bohn was in charge of arrangements for the funeral.
