Roscoe Baker, former resident, dies; Britt rites

Clear Lake - Funeral services were held at Britt Monday afternoon for Roscoe E, Baker, a former Clear Lake resident. Mr. Baker, 85, died Thursday at a Fort Dodge hospital. He had been a resident at Friendship Haven there since 1961. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Britt.

The Baker family farmed several years on the Clausen farm, Clausen's Cove. They also farmed in the Britt area and later lived in Ames.

He is survived by two daughters and five sons, one whom is the Rev. Ralph Baker, Storm Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Zirbel attended the funeral services
