Mrs. Tobias Peterson Rites on Thursday

Funeral services for Mrs. Tobias Peterson, 80, of 2412 1/2 University Avenue, Des Moines, are being held today (Thursday) at 10 a. m. at the Dalstrom Funeral Home in Des Moines, followed by services at 2:30 p. m., at Immanuel Lutheran Church Forest ,City. Interment will be at Madison Cemetery, south of Forest City.

Mrs. Peterson died on Monday [29 Jan 1968] after suffering a heart attack at her home.

She was born in Story County and had been a resident of Des Moines the past 15 years. She had also resided in Mason City Thompson and Forest City.

She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Des Moines.

Survivors include her husband, Tobias; one son, Donald S. Peterson of Palatine, Ill.; five granddaughters, Martha, Sarah, Karen, Deanna and Ann Marie Peterson of Palatine, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Emil Finer of Clear Lake and Mrs. Wm. Hansen of Bremerton, Wash.; three brothers, Peter Holland of Des Moines, Elias Holland of Fairfield, Calif., and J. O. Holland of Buena Park, Calif.
