ERWIN HENRY GREIMAN

KLEMME-Erwin Henry Greiman, 82, died Friday (Sept. 28, 2001) at Concord Care Center in Garner.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m., Monday at Tenold Funeral Home, 528 East Main St., Klemme with the Rev. Donna Buckman of Immanuel Reformed United Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will be in Ell Township Cemetery, Klemme.

Visitation will be held from 11:30 until time of service Monday at the Tenold Funeral Home, Klemme.

Erwin Henry Greiman, son of Henry and Clara Greiman, was born January 5, 1919 in rural Garner, Iowa. Erwin farmed with his father, on a farm west of the Peace Reformed Church.

He was confirmed and a member of the Peace Reformed Church. Erwin attended Klemme schools.

Erwin had been a resident of both Duncan Heights and Concord Care Centers for the past 40 years due to a logging accident.

He was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bingo, attending church services and various other activities at the care center. He enjoyed chocolate and spending time watching TV and visiting with Eddie, his roommate.

He always enjoyed when family came to visit and also visiting with residents of the care center.

Those thankful for sharing in his life are; sister, Corrine and husband, William Davey, Gadsden, Alabama; and Rick and wife, Joyce Merkel, Gadsen, Alabama; Sharilyn and husband, James Forcht; Eileen and husband, Jim Ownes,
Antioch, Calif.; Patricia and husband, Dan Henry, Overland Park, Kansas and Elisa Forcht, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

He is preceded by his parents, brother, Alvin, and sister, Lucille Stallbaumer.
