Patricia Ann (Kudje) Cain, age 83, of Harrison, Ark., formerly of Klemme, Iowa, died, Jan. 3, 2013, at Harrison, where she had lived since 1988.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Ell Township Cemetery, Klemme. Patricia was the daughter of Arthur and Maybelle (Johnson) Kudje. She attended Klemme Schools and graduated from Klemme High School.
She later met the love of her life and future husband, Kenneth Cain, of Clear Lake, while on an outing at the Surf Ballroom. The couple eloped in April of 1949.
Following their union they moved to Colorado, where Pat was employed with Colorado State Bank as an operations officer for 32 years until retirement in Englewood, Colo., where she lived for 40 years before moving to Harrison, Ark.
Survivors include her daughter, Karrie (Marcus) Limperis, Mt. Judea, Ark.; granddaughter, Nicole (T.J.) Clark; great-grandchildren, Kolby and Chase
Clark, and Roland Limperis; step-great grandchild, Lydea Clark; her sisters, Jacqueline Hiete and Virginia Bakersville.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; grandson, Daniel Limperis; and great-grandson, Corbin Clark.

Patricia Ann Cain, age 84, of Harrison, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013, at Hospice of the Hills Hospice House in Harrison. She was born May 18, 1928, in Klemme, Iowa, the daughter of Arthur and Maybelle (Johnson) Kudje. Along with her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Cain; her grandson, Daniel Limperis; and her great-grandson, Corbin Clark.
Patricia was a member of the Methodist Church. She grew up in Iowa. While in college, she met Kenneth Cain in Clear Lake, Iowa at The Surf and later, much to her mother's dismay, they eloped and married April 19, 1949. They moved to Colorado with her working at Colorado State Bank as an operations officer and retired after 32 years. They moved to Harrison in 1988 after living in Englewood, Colorado for 40 years.
Patricia is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karrie and Marcus Limperis, of Mt. Judea, Arkansas; and her sisters, Jacqueline Heite and Virginia Baskerville.
Patricia is also survived by her granddaughter and her husband, Nicole and T. J. Clark; her great-grandchildren, Kolby Clark, Chase Clark, and Roland Limperis; her step-great-grandchild, Lydea Clark; and a host of other family and many dear friends.
Memorial service was Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Frank Daniels officiating.
Interment was in Ell Township Cemetery in Klemme, Iowa.
