Lydia H. Ax

Klemme - Funeral services for Mrs. Lydia H. Ax, 83, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church here. Burial will be in Ell Township Cemetery with Bohn Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Ax died Tuesday at Concord Manor. She was born May 29, 1881, in Illinois to Herman and Matha Ludeke. They came to a farm near Klemme when she was a child. She was married April 3, 1903, to William F. Ax. She was church organist and active in Sunday school many years. Her husband died in 1950. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and three sisters.

Surviving are three sons, Elmer and Irvin, Klemme; Lloyd, Brownsville, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. John (Pearl) Neuberger, Brownsville; two brothers, Henry Ludeke, Klemme; Ralph, Clear Lake; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Emma) Schoenwetter and Mrs. George (Mary) Schoenwetter, both of Klemme.
