MERLE LLOYD BREDLOW

Merle Lloyd Bredlow, 76, of Mason City, Iowa passed away Tuesday, January 23, 1996 in Houston, Texas.

Merle Lloyd Bredlow was born April 23, 1919 in Liberty Township, Hancock County, Iowa, a son of Walter John Bredlow and Laving Ulrich Bredlow. He married Alice Irene on January 7, 1957 in Mason City.

Merle was retired after more than 22 :years of employment as a property maintenance engineer at The Harbourage Condominiums in Clear Lake. After retirement, he worked as a private residential painting contractor.

For the past 55 years, he was active as one of Jehovah's witnesses and truly lived his faith.

He was a loving husband toward his wife; and a father who made his son proud.

Merle had many dear friends that he dearly loved and would like to express it at this time. His wife shares this sentiment as well.

We are very grateful for our loving neighbors and all the encouragement from our friends.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Alice Irene Bredlow of Mason City; one son, Ethan Bredlow of Clear Lake; one brother, Ellsworth Bredlow and his wife Norma, of Mankato, Minn.; two sisters, Jean Shockman and her husband, Gerald, of Mankato, Minn., and Lola Martin of Houston, Texas; and one nephew, Meredith Martin of Houston, Texas.

Following the Memorial Service, the family
invites you to join them for fellowship and
refreshments at the Clear Lake City Hall
Community Room.
