A. H. HEIDNER, WEST BEND DOCTOR, DIES

West Bend--Dr. Albion H. Heidner,73, widely known West Bend physician and a past president of the State Medical Society, died Monday afternoon at St. Joseph's Community Hospital here following a short illness.

Dr. Heidner was founder of the General Clinic here and was active in the medical center until the time of his death.

He was a past president of the Washington County Medical Society, treasurer of the West Bend School Board for 25 years, a charter member of the West Bend Rotary Club, a 32nd Degree Mason and past master of the West Bend Lodge.

In 1953 he was named "Man of the Year" by the West Bend Kiwanis Club. He headed the State Medical Society in 1951-52.

He was born at Waubeka, July 14, 1889, and was married at Britt, Iowa, June 26, 1915 to Elsie Aageson.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Richard, Libertyville, Ill., and Andrew, Whitefish Bay; a sister, Miss Edith Heidner, West Bend; a brother, Dr. Fredrick Heidner, Milwaukee and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Ohlrogga Funeral Home, West Bend, at 3 p.m. Friday. The Masonic Lodge will conduct the rites. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Medical Association's education fund.
