JOHN DWIGHT CLEMENTS - 1912-1968

Funeral services for John Clements, age 56, who was a Klemme business man, died Friday at the Veterans hospital in Des Moines, where he had been a patient since September.

He was born March 31, 1912 in Mead County, South Dakota, the son of Lloyd and Emma Clements. As a youth he lived and attended schools at Estherville, Iowa. In 1938 he came to the Klemme area and was united in marriage to Juanita Pavey on October 12, 1940.

In 1942, John entered military service and was discharged in 1945. Since 1958 he had operated a service station and repair business in Klemme. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and American Legion.

Surviving are his wife and two sons. James Clements of Cedar Falls, and Jerry Clements of Vallejo, California in the navy.

Also are his mother, Emma, and two sisters, Mrs Lester Ramsey and Mrs Elsie Roben all of Estherville.

One Grandson Jeffrey.

He was preceded in death by his father.
