VERNER GLEN NELSON - 1903-1961
Verner Glen Nelson son of Thomas and Edith Webner Nelson was born October 25, 1903 in Avery Township.
On February 25, 1925 he was united in marriage to Jennie Meinderts. They became the parents of two daughters, Ardella and Erdene.
Mr. Nelson was a successful farmer in the Klemme Community for many years. He was a faithful member of the Klemme Methodist Church.
He passed to his eternal reward on April 10, 1961 following a week of illness in a hospital.
He leaves to mourn his passing:

Two Daughters: Ardella, Evanston, Illinois; Erdene (Mrs. Robert Halferty), Des Moines
Son-in-law, Robert Halferty
Two Grandchildren: Brian and Suzanne Halferty
His Mother: Mrs. T. C. Nelson, Fort Dodge
A Brother: Harvey Nelson, Cedar Falls
An Uncle: H. Andrew Nelson, Rockwell
Several cousins and a host of friends.
