Marlin Holcomb

Marlin Holcomb, 45, Albert-Lea, Minn., died Saturday, July 9, 1983, at Albert Lea.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Petersen Funeral Home, Forest City, with the Rev. Vern Skarstad of Ascension, Lutheran Church in Albert Lea officiating. Burial was in Madison Township Cemetery, Forest City.

Mr. Holcomb born January 25, 1938, at Forest City, the son of Kenneth and Alvina (Johnson) Holcomb. He graduated from Forest City High School in 1956 and from Dunwoody Industrial Institute in Minneapolis in 1961.

On September 3, 1960, he married Marie Foss at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. He worked as a draftsman in St. Paul, Minn., until 1964, when he moved to Albert Lea, where he was employed by Almco. He was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church, Albert,Lea.

He is survived by has wife Marie, Albert Lea; a daughter, Jodi, and two sons, Jeffrey and Gregory of Albert Lea; his. mother Mrs. Alvina Holcomb, Leland; and his grandmother Mrs. Jasper (Hazel) Smith, Forest City.
