Bernhard Bartleson services are held

Funeral services were held Monday for Bernhard Bartleson, 86, Forest City, who died last Friday. Rev. Owen Gangstead officiated over services from Immanuel Lutheran church.

Burial was in Madison township cemetery with Olson funeral home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bartleson was born Nov. 12, 1881. He was a longtime auto mechanic who was retired. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Bartleson, born in Mitchell county.

Survivors include his wife, Dagmar; two sons, Carl and Benny of Clear Lake and four daughters, Mrs. Harold (Anna) Balmer of Green Mountain; Mrs. Alberta Iverson, Mason City; Mrs. Everett (Marie) Schreiber, Bloomington, Ill. and Mrs. Charlotte Buckley, Mason City.

Also three brothers, Peter, Christian and Magnus, all of Forest City and a sister, Clara on the west coast.
