Funeral services held for Mrs. Don Andreasen
Funeral services for Mrs. Beulah Andreasen, 47, who died Nov. 6 at a Mason City hospital following a long illness and repeated hospitalizations, were held at the United Methodist church Nov. 10 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Max Goldman and Rev. Phillip Peters of Kenyon, Minn., officiating.
Mrs. Andreasen was a member of the United Methodist church, Forest City. She attended the Forest City schools and was united in marriage to Don Andreasen Nov. 8, 1947 in Princeton, Mo. To this union were born two sons, Doug and Dana.
The family has lived in several places - Cedar Rapids, Fort Dodge, Holstein, Los Angeles and Lake Mills. They returned to Forest City in 1966.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the circles of the church and worked at DeLuxe Products Co., Lake Mills and the Compact Industries.
Preceding her in death were her father and step-father.
Survivors are her husband; two sons; her mother, Mrs. Amanda Cook; and one sister, Mrs. Charles (Ovedeia) Franklin, all of Forest City.
Soloist at the service was Richard Stensrud. Organist was Mrs. Franklin Bienert. Casket bearers were Jerry Higbee, Byron Lockrem, Roger Thompson, Donald Storby, Max VanDenHul and Henry Wubben.
Burial was in Madison township cemetery. Olson Funeral home had charge of the service.
