Helen Boman, 86, of Garner, formerly of Forest City, died Tuesday at the Boone County Hospital in Boone.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m., Friday, March 9, at First Baptist Church in Forest City. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel, 160 E. 4th St., Garner.

There will also be a memorial service held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 10, at The Cedars, 600 N. Kennedy Ave. in Madrid.

She is survived by her husband, Milton; three children, Cynthia (Bob) Cramer of Boone, Wesley (Cherie) Boman of Klemme, and Trudy (Thomas) Burford of Johnston; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Kruta and Marion (Herbert) Amundson; an aunt, Ardis Anderson; and nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Central Iowa or the Boone County Hospital Foundation.
