Services Today For W. Elmo Fish, 83, Longtime Resident

Services will be held this afternoon at First Congregational church in Forest City for W. Elmo Fish, 83. He died Monday evening at Forest City hospital of a heart condition.

A long-time resident of Forest City, he was employed with the Iowa State Highway commission until his retirement.

Born Jan. 13, 1878, at Baraboo, Wis., he was the youngest child of Alfred and Emma Fish. He came to Forest City in 1915.

A brother, Howard, and a sister, Mrs. George Adkinson, preceded him in death.

Dr. John C. Eichorn will officiate at the 2 p.m. services this afternoon. Music will be provided by Ronald Klipping, and Mrs. Russell Lewis, organist. Pallbearers are Levi Olson, Maak Wilson, Carroll Gullickson, Dan McCulloch, Ashley Hill, and Foster Anderson.

Burial will be in Madison township cemetery. Olson funeral home is in charge.
