Mrs. Leo Cournis Buried on Tuesday

A former Britt girl, Mrs. Leo Cournis nee Beryl Bowling, was buried in Britt Tuesday, having died from gas poisoning at her home, 1206 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis, Minn., on February 12th. She is the daughter of E. E. Bowling, of Fort Dodge. The family lived on the N. Burgardt farm northeast of Britt and later on the Cosgriff farm north of Wesley for some years.

Deceased is survived by her husband, one daughter three years old, her father, and three brothers, Reese, of Milwaukee, Wis., Frank, of Paxton, Illinois, and James at home. There is a married sister in St. Louis, Missouri. Rev. J. D. Wolcott of the Methodist church, delivered the funeral sermon at the Treganza funeral parlor at ten o'clock Tuesday morning and burial in Evergreen cemetery followed immediately.
