Died at her home in Hutchins, Iowa, on May 20, 1903. Mrs. Harriett Hildebrand, age 31 years. She had been in poor health for a number of years and about six weeks ago she became bed fast and gradually grew worse until the end, which was peaceful to the weary sufferer. All that loving hands could do was done for her, but to no avail. The funeral services were held Thursday at 3 o'clock conducted by Rev. Bundy of Hutchins, and the burial was at the Britt cemetery.

You all have been more than kind to us, and words fail to express the deep gratitude; we feel we owe you a debt which we never can repay but hope and pray that should clouds of sorrow ever hang over you, may he that doeth all things well, make them light and fleeting, so that soon you may see a silver lining.
