Services for Clara Voiding, 78, Shell Rock, formerly of Crystal Lake, who died Saturday, Sept. 26, 1992 at her home in Shell Rock, will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 30 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Crystal Lake with Rev. Robert Snitzer as officiant.

Mrs. Dean Cataldo, organist, will accompany soloist, Jann Ramos.

Honorary casket bearers will be James Schowalter and William Leerar.

Active bearers will be Ralph Juhl, Dean Maschoff, Orval Jamtgaard, Glenn Blaser, Harold Nielsen and Paul Wellik.

Burial will be at Crystal Township Cemetery in Crystal Lake. Visitation was held at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel in Britt.

Clara Ann Volding, the daughter of Joseph Anton and Charlotte (Meyer) Kramer, was born January 11, 1914 at Woden. She grew up in the Titonka and Woden area, where she also attended school, graduating from Woden High School in 1932.

April 15, 1938, she married Gordon Volding at Belmond. They farmed near Crystal Lake until they retired in 1976 and moved into town. In 1989, Clara had moved to Mankato, MN and in 1991 to Shell Rock in order to be near her daughter, Twylla, and son-in-law, Jack Baker.

She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Crystal Lake, Women of Life and Mary's Circle.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Twylla Baker, and her husband, Jack of New Hartford; three sisters, Mrs. Augusta Grubb of Houston, TX, Mrs. Louise Thompson and Mrs. Mildred Fredrickson, both of St. Louis Park. MN.

She was preceded in death, by her husband, Gordon Volding, April 23. 1978; her parents; and a brother, Ernest Kramer.
