Died - At the home of his parents in Britt Friday, March 17th, Alexander Godefrey aged 24 yrs. The funeral services were held in the M.E. church Sunday. Rev. Faus preached an excellent sermon, urging the necessity of a better life in order to insure a lasting and happy union beyond the grave.

Died - At six o'clock a.m., Friday, Mar. 17th, 1893, Alexandria Godefrey, age 24 years, 6 months and 10 days, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Godefrey. Funeral services were held at the M. E. Church Sunday, conducted by Rev. Favs, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Evergreen Cemetery.
