Mrs. John Goll, 67

Funeral services were held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. for Mrs. John Goll at the Goll home in Garner and at the Zion Evangelical and Reformed church. The Rev. Carl J. Mohr, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the Concord township cemetery.

Mrs. Goll died early Thursday, July 28 in a Mason City hospital at the age of 67 years, 6 months and 20 days.

She was born Viola Robbins, Jan. 8, 1888 near Goodell, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Robbins. She attended a rural grade school near Goodell and upon the death of her mother, made her home with John Christies of Garner where she attended both grade and high school.

She taught rural schools for 2 years in Hancock county. On Christmas day, 1907 she became the wife of John Goll at Havelock, Iowa. They made their home on a farm southeast of Garner until retirement in 1943 when they moved to a home at the west edge of Garner.

Mrs. Goll was a member of the Zion Evangelical and Reformed church in Garner and a member of the Women's Guild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Kenneth and Earl and a sister, Irma.

Survivors include her husband, four daughters, Mrs. Aaron Stromer, Garner; Lois Marie of Santa Monica, Calif.; Lola of Garner and Mrs. LeRoy Bredlow of Garner; five grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Ira Robbins of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada and a sister, Mrs. Hallie Rodda of Fontana, Cailf.

Pallbearers were Harvey Goll, Howard Greiman, Dean Goll, Curtis Upmeyer, Dale Haes, and Paul Goll.
