Taalkeus G. Ahrenkiel, 68, of Mesa, died Jan. 7, 1988, at Mesa Lutheran Hospital. Born in Goodell, Iowa, he had been an administrator for the Iowa Public School System and was a U.S. Army Air Corp World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; daughter, Peggy Kukielka; son Robert; and three grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Chapel of Prayer Funeral Home, 108 N. 56th St. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association of Phoenix.

Former Klemme Superintendent dies

Word has been received of the death of Taalkeus G. Ahrenkiel, 68, of 2728 E. Encanto St. Mesa, AZ 85203

Ahrenkiel died January 7, 1987 [1988] at Mesa Lutheran Hospital.

He was born in Goodell and had served as superintendent at Klemme.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; daughter, Peggy Kukielka; son Robert; and three grandchildren.
