Drowned in Clear Lake.
Garner, July 20 —Henry [Harry] Caswell with four young men drove over to Clear Lake yesterday forenoon. Soon after dinner they all went into the lake to swim and it seems got into very deep and cold water, a place fed by springs, Caswell was attacked by crumps and before his companions realized it he was drowned. It is a severe blow to his widowed mother. She has already one son in the army, the remaining one being in the clothing business here. The young man was twenty years of age, steady and industrious and beloved by all.
