SPOONER

We gather from the Klemme Times that on Friday afternoon the young son of Dr. and Mrs. Spooner, of Klemme, met with a very severe accident, the result of his clothing catching fire from the kitchen stove.

The poor little fellow who is only two years old, was badly burned about the face and body. Dr. Spooner was absent at the time and Dr. Richter was called in to attend the little sufferer.

On Monday Drs. Charlton of Clear Lake, and Fraser of Garner, were in consultation with the other physicians and hopes are entertained that the child will recover. We sincerely hope so. The sympathy of the entire community are with the afflicted parents in this their time of sorrow.

The little boy died from the burns Saturday last. Every father and mother reading this item will deeply sympathize with Mr. and Mrs. Spooner.
