F. H. Schultz, 76, Interred Friday After Services

Funeral services for Ferdinand H. Schultz, 76, Ventura, who died Tuesday noon, Dec. 10, at the Lutheran Home of the Aged at Vinton, were held Friday, Dec. 13 at the Redeemer Lutheran church, Ventura, with the Rev. E. H. Widmann officiating. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery, Garner. Bohn Funeral Home had charge.

Solos were sung by Earl Roenfanz accompanied by Mrs. W. T. Wolfram. Pallbearers were Harry Roenfanz, Alton Nelson, Elmer Jass, Walter Schmidt, Herman Boehnke and Vernon Ristau.

Ferdinand Henry Schultz was born Nov. 15, 1881, the son of Frederick and Friederika Bell Schultz at Elmhurst, Ill. At the age of three he moved with his parents to Kossuth county. He was married to Meta Dau at Wittemore Feb. 4, 1907. Since 1929 he has resided in the Garner, Ventura and Clear Lake communities. He lived on a farm four mile northwest of Clear Lake for a number of years.

Surviving him are his children, Mrs. Arthur (Verona) Hoeft, Garner; Mrs. Henry (Irma) Bokelman, Ventura; two sons, Maynard and Kermit, Mason City, and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, two sons and his sisters and brothers. Mr. Schultz had been a resident of the home at Vinton for a number of years.
