Died - Saturday, June 15th, of consumption, Louisa Perrigo, wife of E. E. Perrigo, aged 30 years, 2 months and 3 days.
Mrs. Perrigo was the youngest daughter of W. C. and Mary Gilpin, and was born April 13, 1853, in Coles county, Illinois. In 1859 her parents moved to Upper Grove, in this county, where she was married to E. E. Perrigo, April 3d, 1872. Her death, on Saturday last, was preceded by a painful illness of several weeks, during which time her suffering has been most intense. The funeral services conducted by the Rev. T. Hamilton were held in the German church Sabbath afternoon and were largely attended.
Mrs. Perrigo was the mother of five children, of whom two girls, one 22 months and one but 10 weeks, alone survive her; two boys and one girl having preceded their mother across the dark river to the bright beyond. The father left with the care of two young children deserves and we believe has the heartfelt sympathy of his friends and neighbors.
