Mrs. Harold Thompson, Formerly of Garner, Buried Here Saturday

Funeral services for Mrs. Harold Thompson, 35, who died Thursday at the Rockwell hospital, were held Saturday morning at the Sacred Heart church at Rockwell with Father Gibbs officiating. Pallbearers were Sid Hoffman, Harold Long, Walter Scott, Ray Scott, Harry Vierkant and Ben Vierkant. Interment was in the St. Boniface cemetery here.

Josie Gladys Thompson, daughter of the late Conrad and Alma Bast, was born May 17, 1909 at Shannon, Ill. Her parents moved to Garner when she was a small girl. She was married in June 1929 to Harold Thompson of Sumner.

She leaves to mourn, her husband, her infant son, Douglas Harold, one daughter, Bonnie Blanche; a sister, Mrs. Wm. Brennan of Manly; two brothers, Clarence Bast of Ventura and Ray F. Bast of Rockwell; and four nieces and a nephew.
