Funeral services were held on Tuesday, September 14 at Fulton Funeral Home for Elizabeth Knisley, 99, who died September 12, 1982, at the Belmond Hospital. Rev. Paul Akin officiated. Burial was in Amsterdam Cemetery, Goodell.

Elizabeth was born June 11, 1883 at New York, N.Y., to Christian and Agatha Merkle. She received her education in the Goodell schools. She married Willis O. Knisley at Britt on October 18, 1910.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one sister and one brother. Surviving is one sister, Minnie Ketchum of Clarion.

Casket bearers were George Beek, Douglas Bohman, Harold Cunningham, Wayne Lein, Merle Ruka and Vern Schluter.
