Clara Louise Kemp
Funeral services were held in Goodell Fri., July 22 for Clara Louise Kemp. Rev. Donald and Dora Campbell officiated at the services in the United Methodist church. Interment was at Amsterdam Cemetery in Goodell. Fulton Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
Clara Louise Kemp was born June 4, 1892, and died at 85 years of age in the Belmond hospital. She was the daughter of Fredrick Prelip and Louise Nalwitz Prelip.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, one sister, four brothers and her husbands, Paul Kemp in 1945 and Frank Kemp in 1966.
Survivors include: two step sons: Arthur Kemp of Colome, S. Dak., and Elmer Kemp of Hampton; two step daughters, Esther (Mrs. Carl) Malzer of Nebraska City, Neb., and Ruth (Mrs. Victor) Meyer of Hampton and nine step grandchildren.
Casket bearers were James Gripenstraph of Dunbar, Neb., Gary Malzer of St. Paul, Minn., Terry Meyer of Thornton, Herbert Terrill of Hampton, Leslie Yaw of Grundy Center and Dorance Lauden of Thornton.
