Died: Of Typhoid fever at his home in Amsterdam on Dec. 1st, Peter Hansen, age 49 years 2 months and 20 days. Funeral services were held at the house Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. Nolte officiating.

Mr. Hansen was born in Denmark, Sept. 11th 1746, and came to America in 1872. He was a good citizen and beloved by all who knew him. He leaves a wife and three children to mourn his loss.

The oldest boy has been very sick with the same disease but is thought to be out of danger.
