Crystal Lake - Warren L. Wilson, 77, retired farmer and painter, died at his home here Monday following a long illness.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:40 p.m. at the family home in Crystal Lake and at 2 p.m. at the Methodist church, the Rev. Gerhardt Hjelmass officiating. Burial in the Crystal cemetery with the Broughton funeral home of Britt in charge.

Survivors include the widow and the following children: Mrs. Vern Huff, Ames; Mrs. Gene Pierce, Omaha, Nebr.; Mrs. Floyd Winter, Cotati, Cal.; Donald and Forrest, Crystal Lake; Lowell, Omaha, Nebr.; Leslie, Albany, Ore.; and Russell, Iowa City; 24 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
