Services held for Mrs. C. J. Larsen

Funeral services for Mrs. C. J. (Donna Mae) Larsen were held Saturday, May 4, at 1:30 p.m., at the Klemme Methodist Church. Rev. J. E. Albertson officiated. Mrs. Larsen, 32 died May 1, at a hospital in Rochester, Minn., following a brief illness.

Pallbearers were Asa Arnold, Dean Jacobs, Graydon Back, Robert Johnson, Marvin Schmidt and H. T. Bosworth. Ralph Whitney was soloist accompanied by Mrs. Robert Schulz at the organ. Mrs. David Schwichtenberg, Mrs. Glen Osman and Mrs. H. T. Bosworth were in charge of the floral offerings. Burial was in Ell Township cemetery at Klemme.

Mrs. Larsen was born April 27, 1931, at Klemme, daughter of Edward S. and Irene (Johnson) Hevilan. She was graduated from the Klemme high school, the Mason City Junior College and Iowa State College at Cedar Falls.

On April 25, 1954, she was married to Clarence J. Larsen at Klemme. She was a member of the Klemme Methodist church, the WSCS, the church circle and the American legion Auxiliary. Mrs. Larsen served as an officer in the WSCS and was a Sunday School teacher.

Surviving are her husband, Clarence; a son, Clarence Edward, 8; a daughter, Laraine, 6, at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward S. Hevilan, Mason City; a brother, Thomas Hevilan, Iowa City, and two sisters, Geraldine and Diane, both at home.
