Hold Services Saturday For Mrs. Ethel A. Josten

Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel A. Josten were held Saturday from the United Church of Christ at Klemme with the Rev. Marvin Lehmann officiating. Burial was in the Klemme Cemetery and Surls and Grupe Funeral Home of Iowa Falls was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Josten died at her home here Wednesday.

Ethel A, Josten was born Jan. 11, 1915 at Klemme, the daughter of Albert and Esther Hartbeck Barz. She was graduated from Klemme High School, attended Iowa State Teacher College and taught rural schools near Klemme. She and Edmund K. Josten were married June 11, 1938. They operated a hardware and television store at Klemme until moving to Iowa Falls in 1966. she had been employed at the Park and Eat here and was a member of First United Methodist Church and Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include her mother, living at Klemme; a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Donna) Meints of Sheffield; three grandchildren; and two brothers, Milvern of Klemme and Edward of Kanawha. Mrs. Josten was preceded in death by her father and husband.
