Services for Marilyn M. Buseman, 72, Klemme, who died Sunday, May 14, 1995 at the Belmond Community Hospital, were held Wednesday, May 17, 10:30 a.m., at the Immanuel Reformed United Church of Christ in Klemme with Rev. William Green as officiant.

Music was provided by Diane Stadtlander, organist, and Marilyn Janssen, vocalist.

Casket bearers were Joel Back, David Back, Daryl Brager, Steve Tosel, Don Quintus and Merrill Mecklenburg.

Burial was at the Ell Township Cemetery, Klemme, with Tenold Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Marilyn Mae Buseman, daughter of Herman E. and Flora (Kern) Back, was born March 8, 1923, near Blairstown. She moved to Klemme in 1928 and attended schools near Klemme, graduating from Belle Plaine High School taking normal training classes. She attended Iowa State Teacher's College in Cedar Falls and taught rural school east of Klemme.

June 14, 1945, she married Franklyn Buseman and they had been married nearly 50 years. They lived on farms in the Klemme and Goodell areas. They moved to Belmond in 1989, but have spent the past 25 winters in Weslaco, Tx.

She was a member of the Immanuel Reformed United Church of Christ in Klemme and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Franklyn of Belmond; daughters, Lynette Nuehring and her husband, Harley of Kanawha, Sheri Williams and her husband, Jack of Waukee; grandchildren, Brian and Corey Nuehring, Merdie and Keith Williams; and a brother, Lynford back of Klemme.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Richard, Graydon and Wilford.
