Services for Mrs. Golda Frances Goll, who died at Prairie View Apartments on Fri., May 6, were held Mon., May 9 at 1:30 p.m. at the Immanual Reformed Church of Christ, Klemme, with Rev. Julius Rechtermann officiating.
Music was provided by Mrs. Lynette Nuehring, organist, and with a duet by Gordo and Ione Beier.
Casket bearers were Carl Pearson, Mitchell Bock, Robert Schulz, Paul Thiemann, Edwin Thiemann, and Ardell Rosendal. Interment was in Ell Township Cemetery, Klemme.
Golda Frances Moberly Goll, the daughter of Newton and Mary Hafferty Moberly, was born Oct. 4, 1909, in Hancock County. She was united in marriage to Alvin Goll on Feb. 12, 1930 at Klemme.
They farmed on the Goll home place until 1937 and then on the Moberly farm until retiring in 1965. After their retirement they spent many winters in Mesa, AZ.
After Alvin died in 1979, Golda continued to reside on the farm until two years ago when she took residence in the Prairie View Apartments in Garner.
Golda was a member of the Immanual Reformed Church of Christ in Klemme.
Golda leaves to cherish her memory her son, Lyle and his wife, Gloria, of Klemme; two grandchildren, Brian and Valerie; and one sister, Mrs. Sylvia Brouwer of Sheffield.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Alvin.
