Rites Monday, Corwith, For Mrs. Weber, 56

Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Weber, 56, Corwith, were held at the Methodist church in Corwith at 2 p.m. Monday afternoon.

Mrs. Weber succumbed to a lingering illness at Lutheran hospital in Fort Dodge last Friday night.

Pearl Walter was born August 3, 1897 at Gibson City, Ill., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Walter, who later farmed in this area. She went through school at Gibson City and attended the Conservatory of Music at Kankakee, Ill.

The Walter family moved to Kossuth county in 1916 and Pearl married Henry Weber at Algona, Feb. 18, 1920.

The Webers had two children, Evelyn, Mrs. Maynard Woodbury, Washington, D. C. and Frank, living on the home farm in LuVerne township.

Besides Mr. Weber and the two children, other survivors include a brother, Leo Walter, who farms two miles west of Algona, and Mrs. Willard Sanford, Algona, a sister, and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Weber was a member of the Eastern Star and the First Methodist Church.

Rev. Rasmussen officiated at the funeral and burial followed in the Corwith cemetery. Richardson Funeral Home of Algona had charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Hugh Raney, Algona and Fred Will, C. W. Hauswirth and George Gaskill, all of Corwith.

Out of town relatives who attended the services included Mr. and Mrs. Glen Antrim and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Eymann all of Pontiac Ill.
