Dies In California

Garner- Word has been received by Garner friends that Mrs. Fred Waterman, former Garner resident, died suddenly in California Friday morning. The body will be shipped to Garner for burial. The Watermans lived in Garner until last year. Mr. Waterman was engaged in the plumbing and furnace business here.

Former Garner Woman Dies at Alhambra, Cal.

Garner - Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Waterman of Alhambra, Cal., will be held Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Bohn funeral home with Doctor W. A. Pollock in charge. Burial will be in the Concord township cemetery.

Mrs. Waterman came from Georgia. She and Mr. Waterman moved from Hubbard and lived here until last year. They had no children but reared 2 of Mrs. Waterman's brother's children, LeRoy Barlow and Gene Barlow, who finished school here and are now both in the armed services.

Mr. Waterman, 3 sisters and a brother survive.
