Farm Woman Succumbs at Home Near Woden - Funeral to Be Friday

Woden - Funeral services for Mrs. Jelle Tjaden, 69, will be held Friday at the Tjaden home near Woden at 1 o'clock followed by services at the Ramsey Reformed church with the Rev. Snittjer, pastor, in charge.

Mrs. Tjaden died at her home Tuesday following a long illness. She suffered a stroke Nov. 2 from which she never regained consciousness.

Surviving are her husband, Jelle Tjaden, 4 sons, Ralph Tjaden of Wesley, The Rev. William Tjaden of Elizabeth, Ill., the Rev. Reuben Tjaden of Alexis, Ill., and the Rev. George Tjaden of Fargo, N. Dak., and 4 daughters, Mrs. Bonno Schutter of Titonka, Mrs. C. J. Kramer of Woden, Marguerite at home and Anna who is a teacher in the Charles City schools. One son, Stephen, died the past summer and another son died in infancy.

Burial will be in the Bingham township cemetery.
