2 Titonka Children Die In Crash; Mother Badly Hurt
Schutter Boy and Girl Are Victims of Accident at Junction
Titonka - Leanna Schutter, 3 and Marvin Schutter, 11 were dead Monday and their mother, Mrs. Will Schutter, was in a serious condition as the result of an automobile accident Saturday evening at the junction of the Forest City-Bancroft highway near the Ed Auken's farm.
The 11 year old Marvin died early Monday of injuries received in the crash. His sister died Saturday evening.
A car driven by Mrs. Schutter and one driven by Fredinand Feldman, 25, a hired man on the Ben Wesselman farm near here, were involved in the collision. Feldman and two other Schutter children, Franklin, 8, and Wilda, 6, were not seriously injured.
Feldman suffered head injuries but after treatment was taken to the Wesselman home. The two children scratches and bruises.
Both cars were demolished.

Double Funeral Service for Titonka Accident Victims
Rites Wednesday for Schutter Children, Killed in Car Crash
Titonka - Double funeral services were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the home and at 2 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran church for Marvin, 11, and Leanna Schutter, 3, brother and sister, who died as the result of an automobile accident at noon Saturday.
Parents of the children are Mr. and Mrs. Will Schutter, farmers living 3 1/2 miles northeast of here.
Mrs. Schutter and four children were returning from Buffalo Center Saturday and collided at an intersection near the Ed Aukes farm with a car driven by Ferdinand Feldman.
Leanna died Saturday night and Marvin died Monday morning, both at the Dalmage hospital.
Marvin Herman Schutter was born April 19, 1929, Leanna was born June 27, 1937.
The Rev. A. Kilian, assisted by the Rev. Martin Schulz, conducted services for the two children and burial was in the church cemetery. Special music was furnished by the church choir.
Pallbearers were school age children. For Marvin they were Ernest Schmidt, Ervin Giesking, Raymond Brandt, George Schmidt, Reuben Kilian and Harold Schmidt.
For Leanna, pallbearers were Erna Schmidt, Louise Mayland, Melinda Giesking and Marjorie Boyken.
The children are survived by their parents and the following sisters and brother, Agnes, Tressa, Wilda, Kathryn and Franklin.
