Funeral Friday for Aged Kanawha Woman
Kanawha - Funeral services were to be held at the Kanawha Christian Reformed church Friday afternoon for Miss Hattie Schroeder, 60, who died about 8 p.m. Tuesday in the home of her niece, Mrs. Gene Feather and husband, who tenant her farm.
Hattie Schroeder was born at Parkersburg June 1, 1885, and in 1894 came with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. George Schroeder, to Hancock county. For many years they made their home on the farm north of Kanawha. A few years ago she purchased a home in Kanawha where she lived until her last illness.
Her parents, one brother, and a sister, the late Mrs. William Swyter, preceded her in death. Surviving are 3 brothers, William Schroeder, of Henning, Minn.; Miner, of Britt, and George, of Kanawha.
The Rev. D. H. Plesscher, pastor of the Kanawha Christian Reformed church, was to be in charge of the funeral, burial to be in the Evergreen cemetery at Britt.
