Injuries Fatal To Mrs. Sauer

Fall From Moving Truck Brings Death to Britt Woman

Britt - Several hours after she had obtained final citizenship papers, Mrs, Joe Sauer, 46, farm woman, died of injuries Friday which resulted when she fell from a truck in which she was riding with her husband and son near their home west of Britt.

Mrs. Sauer died in a Mason City hospital. She was believed to have received fractures of the neck, collarbone and one arm as well as a severe scalp wound.

Mrs. Sauer's son was driving the truck at the time of the mishap. The body was taken to the Boughton funeral home at Britt.
