Goodell - Mrs. W. N. Allaben received word Thursday that her son, Vincent, died Wednesday evening at a hospital in Chicago. Vincent's sister, Mrs. Robert McNutt, left Thursday evening to attend funeral services.

Mr. Allaben was born July 3, 1900 at Goodell. He was graduated from the Brooklyn high school in 1917 and received his B.A., M.A. and doctor's degrees from the University of Iowa at Iowa City.

For several years he was superintendent of school at Solon, Iowa, and Forriston, Ill.; and the last few years was a professor in a Chicago school.

Two months ago he became ill with rare blood disease.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Jacquelene and Martha; his mother and sister of Goodell; a brother, Hamblin, of Traer; and a sister, Mrs. Genes, of Rock Island, Ill.

His father and three sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon with burial in Chicago.
