Mrs. Charles Jackson

Garner - Mrs. Charles F. (Sadie E.) Jackson, 76, died at Hancock County Memorial Hospital Friday after a long illness.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at United Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Paul G. Gabrielson will officiate. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery with Bohn Funeral Home in charge.

Born Aug. 19, 1890, at Chapin, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Philport. She was married to Charles F. Jackson Jan. 1, 1912. They farmed near Chapin until moving to Garner in 1945.

Surviving are her husband, the Farm Bureau insurance agent here; a daughter, Helen Buchanan, San Jose, Calif.; three sons, Ray F. Jackson, Hansell; Lester J. Jackson, Richardson, Tex.; Robert W. Jackson, Concord, Calif.; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a sister, Mae Jones, Hampton.
