Fred Willodson
Garner - Funeral services for Fred Willodson, 77, former Garner restaurant operator, will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church northeast of Garner Thursday. Burial will be in the St. John's Cemetery. The Bohn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Willodson died Saturday at St. John's Hospital, Port Townsend, Wash. The Willodsons have been living at Port Townsend for a number of years. The body will be brought to the Bohn Funeral Home on Tuesday and visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday evening and Wednesday.
Fred Willodson, the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Willodson, was born at Granite Canyon, Wyo., on May 23, 1889. He was married to Emma Thada in May of 1924. The couple owned and operated a restaurant in Garner for many years, before retiring to Washington.
Survivors are his wife, Emma; two daughters, Mrs. Tom (Geraldine) Lee, Las Vegas, Nev.; and Mrs. Robert (Betty Jean) Hiller, Port Townsend, Wash.; six grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Youngren, Sheridan, Wyo.; Mrs. Rose Oxley, Corwith, and Mrs. Hedwig Johnson, Britt; two brothers, Ernest of Englewood, Calif., and Victor of Bushnell, Ill.
