Clarence Stephens

Corwith - Clarence M. Stephens, 49, formerly of Corwith and now of LaCrescent, Minn., died Monday at a Rochester Hospital.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home in Corwith. The Rev. Frank Considine will officiate. Burial will be in Corwith Cemetery.

Born Oct. 14, 1917, at Dayton, Iowa, he was the son of David and Hazel Stephens. He was married June 8, 1963, to Evelyn Perkins.

Surviving are his wife, five sons, Gary, Austin, Minn,; Merrill, Brillion, Wis.; William, Randy and Ricky, all at home; a daughter, Mrs. John (Joan) Hawley, Austin, Minn., two grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Robinson, Dakota City; Mrs. Marion Nall, Corwith; Mrs. Dale Mowers, Ellendale, Minn., a brother, Ronald Stephens, Bradshaw, Neb.
