Mrs. John Schnath
Britt - Funeral services for Mrs. John (Mable) Schnath, 72, who died Monday at a hospital in Akron, Ohio, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Boughton Funeral home.
Mrs. Schnath was born Dec. 23, 1897, in Fowler, Ind., the daughter of Frederick and Bertha Steinke Draeger.
She attended schools in the Woolstock Webster City area.
On Oct. 12, 1916, she married John Schnath, in Waterloo, and they lived in the Britt area most of their lives.
She was a member of the LCW and Royal Neighbors of America.
The Rev. Paul Adix will officiate, and burial will be Greenwood Cemetery. [Evergreen Cemetery - Britt]
Mrs. Schnath is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Leo (Maxine) Benesch, Kent, Ohio, Mrs. Robert Janashak, Bedford, Ohio; one son, Dean Schnath, Britt; ten grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Henschen, Corwith, Mrs. Frank Jones, Webster City; and one brother, Albert Draeger, Charles City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, and two grandchildren.
