Howard F. Ruka

Garner - Howard F. Ruka, 69, died Wednesday at Concord Manor Nursing Home in Garner. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at United Presbyterian Church here. The Rev. Paul Gabrielson will officiate. Burial will be in Amsterdam Cemetery in Goodell with the Bohn Funeral Home in charge.

The son of Frank and Eva Anderson Ruka, he was born July 24, 1898 in Goodell. He was married to Edna Cline Feb. 2, 1929. He lived in Garner since 1935 and was a retired salesman.

Surviving are his wife, two brothers, Earl, LaHabre, Calif.; Lester, Kenosha, Wis.; three sisters, Mrs. Harry (Laura) Sorenson, Belmond; Mrs. Ray (Della) Weigand, Center Point; Mrs. Louis (Alice) Clark, Elgin, Ill.
