Edward Putzstuck

Britt - Funeral services for Edward Putzstuck, 53, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church. The Rev. Warren Paige will officiate. Military honors will be conducted in Evergreen Cemetery by the American Legion post. IOOF services will be held at Grupe Funeral Home Tuesday at 8 p.m.

Born Feb. 6, 1914, at Wesley, he was the son of Henry and Gusta Putzstuck. He was a veteran of World War II and was married to Helen Folkerts Sept. 10, 1951, at North Bend Neb. He had been in the plumbing business in Britt several years and was a member of the Britt Volunteer Fire Department the last 10 years. He died Monday morning at Hancock County Memorial Hospital.

Surviving are his wife, three children, Ronald, 14; Arlin, 12; Rita, 1; his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Krull, Britt; and a brother, Lloyd, Britt.
