Mrs. Pavelka Funeral Set for Friday

Britt - Services for Mrs. Joe Pavelka, Duncan, will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church at Duncan. The Rosary will be said at the Boughton Funeral Home Thursday evening at 8. Mrs. Pavelka died at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital Wednesday morning.

She was born in 1896 at Ellsworth, Kan. She was married to Joe Pavelka on Aug. 28, 1918, and later moved to the Duncan vicinity where they farmed.

Survivors besides her husband include two daughters, Mrs. John (Margaret) Hrubes, Ames, and Mrs. Joe (Leona) Hrubes, Britt, and three sons, James and Joseph Jr., both of Britt, and Paul, Waterloo.

Burial will be at the church cemetery.
