Former Corwith Woman Dies With New Born Infant

Corwith - Mrs. Merle Oxley. 24. Santa Ana, Calif.; and her new born infant died Tuesday at Santa Ana. She was the former Marlene Peterson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Peterson, Corwith.

Survivors are her husband, three children, and her parents. Funeral services will be at the First Baptist Church, Corwith, Sunday. The Rev. C. H. Peters will officiate. Boughton Funeral Home will be in charge.

Rites Sunday For Mrs. Oxley

Britt IA - Services for Mrs. Merle Oxley, 24, who died in childbirth Tuesday at Anaheim, Cal., will be Sunday at the Boughton Funeral Home here and at the First Baptist Church at Corwith.

Surviving are her husband; three children, Joyce Ann, 4; David Merle, 3; and 1 year old Debra Marie; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Peterson, Corwith; a brother, Larry Peterson, Corwith; and a sister, Mrs. Bill Newell, Des Moines.
