Carl F. Long

Corwith - Carl F. Long, 79, died Monday at Hancock County Memorial Hospital at Britt.

A retired farmer, he was born Jan. 23, 1887, at Walnut Grove, Pa., to Louis and Katherine Long. He was married to Jean Robinson at New Bloomfield, Pa. in 1910. They came to the Corwith area in 1914.

Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Warren (Alice) Lederer, South Orange, N. J., a son, Carl R. Long, Eagle Grove; two sisters, Bessie Raffensperger, Chicago; Rebeca Stephens, Newport, Pa.; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Blake Funeral Chapel in Corwith. The Rev. Frank Considine of the Corwith Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Corwith Cemetery.
